Set in private wooded grounds and overlooking the River Tay, the BEST WESTERN Invercarse Hotel is a former mansion house offering a stylish and convenient base for a visit to Dundee and the surrounding area.
The hotel is a mere 5 minute drive from Dundee City Centre, and is ideally situated for business trips. As one of Scotland's largest cities, Dundee boasts excellent transport links; Dundee Airport is a few minutes drive from the hotel and has regularly scheduled flights to London City Airport, whilst Dundee Railway Station puts any major city within easy reach. Despite being close to the city centre, the blissfully quiet suburban surroundings and private grounds mean that you won't have to worry about the hustle and bustle of the city interrupting a decent nights sleep!
For those wishing to escape work, Dundee is a perfect base for golf trips - the world famous 'Old Course' in St. Andrews is only 15 miles away, with other Open Championship golf venues such as Carnoustie Golf Links and Muirfield Golf Course close enough to visit for a round or two before heading back to the hotel for a wee dram and some well-deserved rest.
