More About The Invercarse Hotel

The Invercarse is a long-established business and our friendly attentive staff know their hotel inside and out – so if there is something you need or want to know about – just ask! The hotel is sympathetically refurbished and we think it has just the right balance of original, traditional charm and contemporary comfort. Our 44 en suite bedrooms are individually designed with comfort and privacy as the main priority.

The hotel restaurant is renowned for its imaginative use of local produce and the bar is a relaxing oasis - an ideal choice for business or social needs. Our Comprehensive Conference and Banqueting facilities are combined in one dedicated area and breakout facilities are also available.

The Invercarse Hotel has 44 bedrooms, and is set in its own wooded grounds and garden. It lies in the west end of Dundee, 2 miles from the City Centre. The hotel has been developed from a 19th century silk merchant's house. Our Ballroom, which has large windows overlooking the gardens, is a popular setting for weddings in the summer months, as well as hosting many dinner-dances and larger meetings. Two huge Californian Redwood trees grow just in front of the hotel, and from these, our Main Bar and Restaurant takes its name: the Redwood Bar.

All function rooms, and the Restaurant, have views, from their south-facing windows, of the gardens, and across the River Tay to the hills of Fife. The gardens are easily accessible and make a wonderful backdrop for photography.
